Holly Hunter is a well-known American actress, producer and director. Her work has been recognized for her roles in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards for her work, including an Oscar. Actresses have a lengthy career of involvement in Broadway off-Broadway, Broadway and various projects. She has always had an interest in acting since when she was in the school. Her first role in a production in fifth grade was in Helen Keller. The actress was deaf in one ear due to mumps but did not allow this handicap to hinder her determination to become an actress. In her early years, she studied drama in the college level and then moved from Pittsburgh to New York City from Pittsburgh to follow her dreams. Hunter came across Beth Henley by chance in a lift. Together they composed Broadway Crimes of the Heart. This was Hunter's acting debut. Her first film role came following her move in Los Angeles. She has since appeared in many television series and movies in a long career that spans more than three decades. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and she also received her the Women in Film Lucy Award.
